Khaya Wood is also known as African Mahogany, it's a durable hardwood. Because of its natural rot-resistant properties and tighter grain, it's resistant to warping.

To care for your soap dish you might choose to apply a thin coat of cutting board oil or your preferred wood conditioner. Regularly treating with a wood oil or conditioner will maintain the natural luster of the khaya wood but may change the color. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and air dry. Avoid harsh cleaners and soaking in water for lengths of time.
